Arctic Cold Front Coming To New Hampshire This Weekend; Wind Chill Factors Below Zero: Weather Forecast

Overnight lows will reach single digits and the teens this weekend, with snow showers in Nashua and the Seacoast, according to the NWS.

CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters are warning Granite Staters that it will be a bit nippy this weekend.

A “hazardous weather outlook” was issued on Thursday morning, warning that an “arctic cold front” is heading into the region. After Thursday’s snow squalls, expect very cold temperatures.

It will be mostly sunny on Friday with highs in the lower 20s, but due to wind chill factors, it will feel as if it is 7 below zero in Concord and the capital region, 6 below zero in Nashua and southwestern New Hampshire, and 4 below on the Seacoast. During the evening and early morning hours, temperatures drop into the single digits.

Saturday will be slightly warmer — the lower 30s with overnight lows in the teens in the capital region, while scattered snow showers are expected in the early afternoon in southern and southwestern New Hampshire, and a rain and snowy mix on the Seacoast.

On Sunday, expect temps in the mid-to-lower-30s with overnight and early morning temperatures in the single digits again.

On Monday, it is expected to be in the lower 20s with overnight lows and early morning temperatures in the lower single digits.

More snow is expected on Tuesday night.
