Concord Christmas Tree Collection Starts Monday
Concord residents can dispose of Christmas trees in their curbside trash starting Jan. 7.

CONCORD, NH — Christmas is over, and while many Concord Christmas trees will likely stay up through New Year's, eventually they have to go. Falling needles make a mess and dried-out trees present a fire hazard.
In Concord, curbside Christmas tree collection will start Mon., Jan. 7, and continue for two weeks. Residents can leave their tree out on their normal pickup day before 7 a.m.
"All lights, ornaments, tinsel, and decorations must be removed," city officials said in a notice. "Wreaths and artificial trees will not be collected."
