Concord Dad Goes Above And Beyond For Daughter, Loves Her Deeply

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Courtney Jordan, who nominated Eli of Concord.

What makes your dad extra special?

He goes above and beyond for his daughter. He genuinely enjoys playing with her, whether it’s going to the park, riding their bikes together, playing Roblox or taking her fishing! He tells her how much he loves her every day, and often says how he can’t believe how big she’s getting. He listens to every word she says and knows all of her interests!

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He always does the right thing for his daughter, he cares about her so much, and I don’t want it to go without recognition! He helps her everyday with anything he can: teaching her new skills, helping her with her homework, reading her a book or even being patient enough to teach her something simple he is doing so she can feel included in the task.
