CONCORD, NH — Concord voters hit the polls Tuesday for the state primary to elect candidates for local representative, governor and Congress. On the local side, there were four contested races for state representative.

Concord Primary Election Results: Governor, Congress

Democratic: Governor

• Molly Kelly: 3,473 votes (overall winner)
• Steve Marchand: 1,857 votes

Republican: Congress, Second District (Top 3 of 7 candidates listed below)

• Steven Negron: 495 votes (overall winner)
• Lynne Blankenbeker: 818 votes
• Stewart Levenson: 528 votes

Concord Primary Election Results September 11, 2018: Contested Local Races

Democratic: State Representative (Vote for 3)

• Mary Jane Wallner: 726 votes
• David Luneau: 585 votes
• Mel Myler: 518 votes votes
• Mary Kusturin: 229 votes
• Joel Prescott: 82 votes

Democratic: Merrimack District 17 State Representative (Vote for 1)

• Safiya Wazir: 329 votes
• Dick Patten: 143 votes

Democratic: Merrimack District 27 State Representative (Vote for 2)

• Rebecca McWilliams: 2,135 votes
• Art Ellison: 1,280 votes
• Carl Soderstrom: 1,226 votes
• Eric Gallager: 409 votes

Democratic: Merrimack District 14 (Vote for 1)

• Jim MacKay: 396 votes
• Roy Schweiker: 67 votes
