Concord Mom Of 3 Has Profound ‘Impact On The World’

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Stephanie Carter who nominated Angela Carter of Concord.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mother has devoted herself to her own three children with varying needs while also serving NH children/youth in crisis or with disabilities through decades of dedicated employment with the NH Education System and the State of NH directly.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She truly believes no child should be ‘left behind’ and has instilled that sense of supporting community and youth to all those around her.

I hope she recognizes her impact on the world — I could not have had a better role model or mentor, and I know there are many children who will remember her for her dedication and caring nature.

I am so proud of you, Mom!
