Concord Regional Crimeline Seeks Witnesses To Concord Heights Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash: Follow-Up
A woman died at Concord Hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Friday night on Loudon Road. Cops ask for help IDing vehicle.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police are asking for witnesses who may have been on Loudon Road on Friday night to come forward after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash.
Just past 7 p.m. police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a report of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle in the area of Alton Woods Drive. The driver of the vehicle left the scene after the crash, Lt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department said in a statement Saturday.

“The bicyclist was transported to Concord Hospital by the Concord Fire Department, where they later died,” he said. “Loudon Road was closed for several hours but has since been reopened to traffic.”
The identity of the subject will not be released at this time, Yerkes said.

Police are still actively investigating the case, canvassing Loudon Road for security cameras that may have caught the suspect vehicle. Yerkes said investigators are specifically looking for anyone who was driving or walking in the area of the Irving gas station at 231 Loudon Road between 7 and 7:10 p.m. on Friday.
