First-Ever Concord Winter Fest Celebration Announced

Intown Concord and other city groups will host the Winter Fest celebration Jan. 23-26.

CONCORD, NH — The stage is set for Concord's first-ever Winter Fest celebration. The event, hosted by Intown Concord, local businesses and city organizations, will be held Jan. 23-26 at multiple downtown venues. There will be an ice-carving competition, ice bars, activities for children, cornhole tournament, shopping stroll and more.

The event coincides with the Black Pond Ice Hockey Tournament, NHTI Winter Fling and Dancing with the Concord Stars. Intown Concord Dawn Badami said organizers are hoping it will become an annual event.

Wed., Jan. 23

  • 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Ice Bar with luge at O Steaks & Seafood
  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Black Ice Pond Hockey Welcome Reception

Thurs., Jan. 24

  • 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Ice bar with luge at O Steaks & Seafood

Fri., Jan. 25

  • 4 p.m.: Cornhole tournament
  • 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Ice bar with luge at O Steaks & Seafood
  • Late afternoon-early evening: Ice carving demonstration on Main Street

Sat., Jan. 26

  • Winter shopping stroll at Concord shops
  • Cornhole tournament
  • Warmup stations with hot cocoa, hot cider, s'mores
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Ice carving competition on Main Street
  • 3 p.m.: Ice carving competition awards, O Steaks & Seafood
  • 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Ice bar with luge at O Steaks & Seafood
