Congratulations, Linda And Joseph Carmody, On 60 Years Of Marriage
Linda and Joseph Carmody celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
CONCORD, NH — Congratulations to Linda and Joseph Carmody on 60 years of marriage on behalf of your family.
The couple was married on Jan. 3, 1966, at St. Rita’s Church in Haverhill, Massachusetts, where Linda was born and grew up. Joseph is originally from Lynn, MA.
Joseph served in the armed forces, and the couple moved to New Hampshire in the 1970s, first to Somersworth and later to Northwood, where they lived for around 37 years. The couple had three children, Joy, Shawn, and Joe II, who passed away as an infant, and a grandchild, Brendan. Joy passed away in 2015.

The couple moved to Concord about a decade ago. They enjoy spending time with family, and bird and nature watching along the Merrimack River. Joseph also still works in the HVAC industry.
