Man Found Dead Inside Camper At Hooksett Rest Area; NHSP Major Crime Investigating
UPDATE: State police say the man found deceased may have died from carbon monoxide; the NH Fire Marshals Office is investigating.
HOOKSETT, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an adult male whose body was discovered inside a camper at the Interstate 93 Southbound Welcome Center in Hooksett early Wednesday morning.
State Troopers from the Troop D barracks located the deceased shortly after being called to the rest area parking lot at 7:33 a.m.
While authorities have not released the man's identity pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin, investigators currently have no information to indicate the death is suspicious in nature.

The New Hampshire State Police is coordinating the investigation with the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal's Office to specifically determine if carbon monoxide may have been a contributing factor in the man's death. The Hooksett Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time. Officials state that additional updates will be provided as they become available.
