Diesel Fuel Spills Into Storm Drain In Bow After Beer Truck Crash On Route 3A
Video: Firefighters estimated 80 gallons of fuel spilled. The NH Department of Environmental Services was requested to the crash scene.
BOW, NH — Diesel fuel spilled into a storm drain in Bow after a crash on Route 3A on Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 12:15 p.m., police and firefighters were sent to Route 3A for a two-vehicle crash. Capital Region and county dispatchers reported diesel fuel was flowing from one of the vehicles into a nearby storm drain. When police arrived, they found a box truck for a beer company with a damaged front-end tire.
Firefighters put down absorbent and confirmed fuel had entered the storm drain. They estimated it was around 80 gallons, according to scanner chatter. Firefighters went back to the fire station for more supplies.

No injuries were reported.
