Driver Reportedly Flees SUV Rollover Crash In Pembroke

Video: Police and fire and rescue teams were sent to Turnpike Street for a crash on Sunday night. No injuries were reported.

PEMBROKE, NH — Police in Pembroke investigated a rollover crash on Turnpike Street on Sunday night.

Just before 8 p.m., county dispatch reported a rollover crash involving an SUV. The driver reportedly fled the area toward Main Street while a passenger remained inside the vehicle, they said. The SUV was later identified as a Nissan X-Terra. A few minutes later, dispatch reported the passenger had exited the vehicle on their own.

Pembroke fire and rescue teams were requested to the scene.

News 603 posted a video from the scene, linked here on Facebook.


The passenger was a resident of Allenstown and had no active warrants, dispatch said. The vehicle was owned by a man in his early 60s.

News 603 also recorded video of the vehicle being flipped over.

Just past 8:30 p.m., the fire commander released the EMTs, since patient transport was not needed.

A wrecker was requested and firefighters cleared the scene around 9 p.m.

According to scanner chatter, a conduct after an accident charge was to be filed against the driver.
