Intoxicated Driver Hit 120 MPH In Concord: Police
New Hampshire State Police said Efrain Perez-Abreu, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with his third DWI offense.

CONCORD, NH — An intoxicated driver was arrested Monday morning after police said he led officers on chase in Concord and hit 120 mph before crashing. Efrain Perez-Abreu, 35, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with a host of crimes, including aggravated driving while intoxicated. Police said he has two other DWI charges on his record.
New Hampshire State Police Lt. Michael Commerford said a trooper was monitoring traffic on Interstate 93 in Concord Monday at about 1:45 a.m. and clocked Perez-Abreu at 117 mph. Perez-Abreu then sped up to 120 mph and fled out of the trooper's sight, according to Commerford.
A few minutes later, Perez-Abreu crashed on Interstate 89 in Hopkinton and hid in the woods, where troopers found him and took him into custody, according to Commerford.

Perez-Abreu was charged with DWI (third offense), aggravated DWI, three counts of resisting arrest, two counts of disobeying a police officer, reckless driving, conduct after an accident, obstruction of government administration and operating after suspension.
He will be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court Jan. 17.
