Fall Comes To The Granite State — With Some Much-Needed Rain, Forecasters Say
National Weather Service forecasters expect a 30 to 50 percent chance of showers on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in New Hampshire.
CONCORD, NH — Welcome to another fall season, Granite Staters, and say, “Hello,” as well, to some badly needed rain.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 30 to 50 percent chance of showers for most of the week and into next weekend, with mostly cloudy skies and some sun here and there.

And the rain is badly needed, as a significant portion of the state is facing “extreme drought” or drought conditions, according to reports.

On Monday, after morning fog, expect sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s and overnight lows in the mid-50s.
Tuesday will be a nice day for most of the day, with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the lower 80s. But in the late afternoon, expect showers. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s with more rain expected.
There is a 50 percent chance of showers on Wednesday, with highs in the upper 60s and lows around 50 degrees overnight.
A break from the rain is expected on Thursday, with showers during the early morning hours on Friday. Partly sunny skies and a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers throughout the weekend.
