During that incident, Adams was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of Green and School streets around 7 a.m. The trauma alert was also activated at Concord Hospital and the intersection was closed to traffic for several hours.
No charges have been filed against either driver, Yerkes said. The Loudon Road incident is “still being investigated,” he said. Investigators, Yerkes noted, were looking to speak to witnesses or anyone who might have video footage related to the incident.
A memorial service will be held for Adams on Sept. 6 at Destiny Christian Church, according to her obituary.
