Peter Fortier's legacy lives on in his six children, 14 grandchildren and his loving bride.

CONCORD, NH— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Concord, meet Peter Fortier.
If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!
Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Shea who nominated Peter Fortier of Concord.
What makes your dad extra special?
My dad was always full of knowledge and love. He was always a listening ear and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He was also very funny. He could make ANYONE laugh or he would always teach them something new. Although he is not with us anymore, his knowledge and love continues to be spread by his six children, 14 grandchildren and his loving bride.
Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?
He was the most compassionate man ever. I think all fathers, alive or not, should always be recognized for being a genuine person who loved everyone.
Happy Father’s Day to Peter Fortier, and thank you for all you do!
