CONCORD, NH— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Concord, meet John George.
If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!
Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Ashley George, who nominated John George of Concord.
What makes your dad extra special?
My father had been a selfless man, as long as I’ve known him. From helping raise and provide for children he didn’t necessarily create. But treated them as his own. He was in the Army and he’s shown me what hard work and having good morals and ethics can go a long ways. He’s not only the best father but now proudly wear his title as Papa to his 2 granddaughters, and they look at him like their hero. Just as I always have. He’s a fighter and he has the biggest heart. He deserves everything good in life. And I could never express enough how much I love my father and thank you Dad. You’re my inspiration ❤️
Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?
Because he has been battling some serious health issues. And he could use a good pick me up.
Happy Father’s Day to John George, and thank you for all you do!
