Homeless Shooter, With Active Cases, Racks Up Burglary, Theft, And Meth Possession Charges In Concord
Jeremy Ducharme faces new felonies, including another dangerous weapon charge, after incidents on Loudon Road this year and last year.

CONCORD, NH — A felon with several active felony charges is in more trouble after being arrested in August and September.
Jeremy Ducharme, 43, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on a bench warrant and a felony possession of a controlled drug charge on Aug. 26. He was also arrested on two felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charges on Sept. 18.
Around 1 p.m. on Aug. 26, according to an affidavit,officers were in the area of the former Regal Cinemas conducting an area check, including security of the building, due to homeless camps in the area. While walking to the wooded area, a man, later identified as Ducharme, emerged from the woods and approached the officers. A check revealed he had an active electronic bench warrant, with a $200 cash requirement, a report said.

Ducharme “was cooperative at the time,” the officer wrote, was placed in handcuffs, and asked if he had anything illegal on him. Ducharme was accused of telling the officer he might have something in his front coin pocket. The officer searched Ducharme and accused him of possessing a clear plastic baggy of a white crystal substance, which was later identified as methamphetamine via a field test.

Ducharme was arrested, assigned a public defender, and a probable cause hearing was held in Concord District Court on Aug. 28. Judge Ryan Guptill found probable cause to move forward with the case, according to documents. Ducharme was released on $300 cash bail on Sept. 3.

Former Steeplegate Mall Charges
Felony complaints were issued against Ducharme in July connected to burglary and theft charges after the former Steeplegate Mall property on Loudon Road.
Ducharme was accused of burglarizing the property and removing copper wiring from electrical rooms at the former mall on Aug. 13, 2024. The value of the copper wiring was more than $1,501-plus.
Ducharme entered no plea on the charges in Concord District Court on Aug. 28. He was released on personal recognizance on Sept. 3. Part of his bail required him to not possess weapons.
A probable cause hearing was held on Sept. 23 and Judge David Burns ruled there was enough evidence to move forward with the cases.

Other Charges
Limited information was available about the two felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges and dangerous weapon charge.
According to a police blotter, the weapon charge was associated with an incident or investigation at the Quick Mart on Loudon Road, while the drug charges were also linked to another incident or investigation at Regal Cinemas.
The August 2024 burglary and theft charges and Aug. 26 drug possession charge were boundover from Concord District Court to Merrimack County Superior Court on Sept. 25. Ducharme is due back in superior court on Dec. 10 for dispositional conferences.
Active Charges Against Ducharme
Ducharme has more than a dozen active charges in superior courts in New Hampshire.
In July 2024, Ducharme was indicted on meth, fentanyl, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and violation of a protective order charges after a December 2023 incident in Rochester. He failed to appear at a final pretrial hearing in May. A final pretrial hearing is slated for Oct. 15 with jury selection to begin on Nov. 3.
Jury selection is scheduled to be held on Jan. 20, 2026, on eight counts of stolen firearm, subsequent drug possession, felonious use of a firearm, and falsifying physical evidence charges out of Concord from August 2024. Also on Jan. 20, 2026, Ducharme has a status conference hearing connected to drug possession, falsifying physical evidence, and resisting arrest charges after an incident in September 2024 in Concord.
Prior Convictions
According to superior court records, Ducharme is a felon due to a reckless conduct-deadly weapon conviction in August 2023, after an incident in Concord in April 2022. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for three years.
In October 2019, Ducharme was arrested on an acts prohibited felony charge after an incident on Hooksett. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in April 2020 and received a 12-month sentence and $620 fine, both suspended for a year.
