Thomas Darcy of Hooksett lost control of his 2005 GSX 750 motorcycle and crashed into a utility pole on Friday morning.
HOOKSETT, NH — Police in Hooksett are asking for witnesses who may have seen a motorcycle crash on Friday morning on Hooksett Road to speak with investigators.
Around 9 a.m., Hooksett police and fire and rescue teams were sent to 1560 Hooksett Road for a report of a motorcycle crash. When they arrived, they found a 2005 Suzuki GSX 750, operated by Thomas Darcy, 33, of Hookset, had been involved in a single-vehicle crash, according to Sgt. Christopher Buker of the Hooksett Police Department.
“Darcy was the sole occupant of the motorcycle when he was traveling south on Hooksett Road and lost control, leaving the roadway and colliding with a telephone pole,” he said. “He was transported by Hooksett Fire/EMS to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries and is in critical but stable condition.”

The road remained open with an altered traffic pattern while the department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated the crash. It is believed speed is a factor, Buker said, but the crash remains under investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the motorcycle’s operation before was asked to contact Sgt. Christopher Buker at 603-624-1560 x405 or cbuker@hooksettpolice.org.
