Rider Killed In Goffstown Motorcycle Accident On Elm Street

A motorcycle appears to have lost control, crashed into a cluster of trees Wednesday. Despite the efforts of police and fire, the man died.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Goffstown on Wednesday.

A single motorcycle traveling on Elm Street appeared to have lost control, skidded across a driveway, and struck a cluster of trees at about 2:40 p.m. The residents in the nearby house heard the crash and called 911.

Immediately after the crash, bystanders flagged down a Goffstown officer who attempted to render medical aid while awaiting Goffstown Fire and EMS. Despite the efforts of the officer and Goffstown Fire, the man died at the scene.

Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office assisted in closing down a section of Elm Street between Paige Hill Road and Maple Avenue while Goffstown police investigated the accident.

The initial investigation shows the single motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The operator, who was the only person on the motorcycle, was a man. The name of the victim was not released by authorities.
