Missing Dog Found After I-93 Crash In Concord: Update

A dog reported missing after a crash Wednesday was found — due to Good Samaritans, a post on the Granite State Dog Recovery Facebook site.

CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters and New Hampshire State Police were sent to a rollover crash on Wednesday.

Around 9 p.m., a witness reported the crash on the northbound side of the highway, near the Exit 12 off-ramp. The driver was then taken to Concord Hospital.

Unbeknownst at the time Patch published the crash post, there was a dog in the SUV that was thrown during the accident. Firefighters and others were in the area trying to find the dog.

Around 10:30 p.m., a note was posted on the Granite State Dog Recovery Facebook site, warning residents to use caution when driving on I-93 between Exits 12 and 13, due to a small black dog missing after the crash.

About 45 minutes after the post was published, the dog was found, unharmed, in Concord, and returned to the owner.
