Around 4:30 p.m., Concord police, fire and rescue teams, and New Hampshire State Police troopers all responded to the crash at the Exit 12 Interstate 93 interchange. The motorcyclist, a South End man in his 30s, was down on the ground but conscious and breathing, according to scanner chatter.

Originally, Capital Region Fire Dispatch sent Bow firefighters and EMTs, because the crash was believed to be at the town line. A minute later, a Concord battalion commander said they could handle the call, which they later learned was actually in Concord.
The other vehicle was a Chevrolet Bolt hatchback being driven by a woman. The northbound lane of the street was shut down while EMTs prepped the rider for transport. One of the officers said the motorcyclist had serious bodily injuries.
