NH Flags At Half-Staff For Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting Victims
NH Gov. Chris Sununu ordered flags at half-staff after 11 worshipers were murdered by a gunman at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue.

CONCORD, NH -- New Hampshire flags are flying at half-staff this week in memory of the 11 worshipers were murdered by a gunman at the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue over the weekend. Gov. Chris Sununu made the half-staff declaration, which is in effect through Wednesday at sunset.
"My thoughts and prayers are with the members of the Tree Of Life Synagogue," Sununu said in a statement. "We cannot - and will not - tolerate hatred, bigotry, and violence in our society, and no one should ever have to fear entering their house of worship, regardless of their faith."
The 11 dead ranged in age from 54 to 97, and the six wounded include four police officers who rushed to the scene. The accused shooter, Robert Bowers, 46, was arrested and charged with murder, assault and ethnic intimidation. Bowers reportedly yelled "All Jews must die" before opening fire on the worshipers. He was armed with an assault rifle and handguns, prosecutors said.
