With elected officials, key partners and representatives from the wine and spirits community in attendance, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) hosted a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony today for the new Pembroke NH Liquor & Wine Outlet—the first NH Liquor & Wine Outlet located in Pembroke. The new standalone store, located at 619 Sand Road in the Pembroke Crossing Plaza, features more than 12,000-square-feet of enhanced shopping space with more than 2,400 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits.
“Today marks a major milestone for the New Hampshire Liquor Commission as we formally open our first NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Pembroke,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “In our ongoing effort to renovate and relocate our 79 NH Liquor & Wine Outlets, location plays a major role. We strategically chose this location in the Pembroke Crossing Plaza with an eye toward the future, as local traffic is expected to triple in the coming years thanks to improvements the New Hampshire Department of Transportation is planning. With this strategic location, coupled with new, state-of-the-art features, an enhanced shopping space and an expanded selection, we are confident this new NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will help us maximize revenue for the New Hampshire General Fund.”

The new Pembroke NH Liquor & Wine Outlet features temperature-controlled wine cabinets, special sections for premium wines and spirits, an expanded close-out sale section highlighting last chance deals, Price Busters and Wine Power Buys, and iPads for perusing inventory, tasting notes and food and wine pairings. The new store was constructed with an emphasis on energy efficiency, incorporating high-efficiency LED lighting and parabolic fixtures, sustainable siding and vinyl composite trim and architectural-grade roof shingles.
Offering ample parking, the new store is situated in the Pembroke Crossing Plaza beside Dunkin Donuts, Veano’s Italian Kitchen and The Wine’ing Butcher. The store, which NHLC projects will generate $3.5 million in annual sales, is accessible from both Route 106 and Manchester Street and serves the communities of Pembroke, Hooksett, Bow, Suncook, Allenstown and parts of Concord.
