NH Ski Tickets Rise 10 Percent This Season

New Hampshire ski ticket costs are on the rise; the average full-day weekend ticket is up 10 percent over 2017, an industry group said.

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Hitting the slopes in New Hampshire this winter will cost you about 10 percent more than last year, according to an industry group. New England Ski Industry reported the average cost of a full-day adult ticket on the weekend this season is $73.42, up from $67.05 last season. New Hampshire experienced the biggest jump in prices of all New England states, according to the group.

The driving factor in the price hike was the suspension of downhill ski operations at Granite Gorge in Roxbury, which had offered some of the cheapest tickets in the state, the group said. Bretton Woods in Carroll has the most expensive ticket this season at $99, while Campton Mountain Ski Area had the cheapest at $20.

New Hampshire is the only Northern New England state not to cross the $100-a-ticket threshold, the group said.
