NH Student Nearly Run Over At School Bus Stop: Shock Video
A shocking video shows a New Hampshire student nearly hit by a car that illegally passed a stopped school bus.

GILFORD, NH — A New Hampshire father is hoping a shocking video showing a speeding car nearly hitting his son at a school bus stop will serve as a reminder for drivers to use caution with school back in session across the state. David Cota-Robles shared his home security camera video that shows a car speed by the school bus, which was stopped with its lights flashing. His son took a few steps to the bus as the car blew by him, causing him to jump back. The boy was not hurt.
"It was very scary," Cota-Robles told WMUR. ""It could have been a lot worse."
The incident happened August 31 during the first week of school in Gilford. Most New Hampshire schools opened that week.
