NH Weather: Unusually Early Snow Possible This Week
Tropical Storm Zeta may bring wet snow into parts of New Hampshire Thursday into Friday.
Snow — not a lot of it, but snow nonetheless — could be heading our way later this week.
Tropical Storm Zeta is moving north, and its remnants might give parts of New Hampshire some early, pre-Halloween snowfall. Exactly how much and where depends on the strength with which the storm comes out of the Gulf of Mexico over the next 24 hours.
The National Weather Service said it will likely be minor snowfall Thursday night into Friday morning. The precipitation may start as heavy rain and transition into wet snow. R

It wouldn't be the first snowfall of the year — northern parts of the state saw up to 9 inches last week. But for southern New Hampshire, it'd be unusually early.
Concord's average first snow comes Nov. 18. In fact, due to a late snow on May 9 in Concord, snow Thursday would tie the fewest days on record between the last and first snows.

"The setup for the Northeast will involve a fresh injection of cold air as high pressure will build eastward from the Great Lakes region spanning Thursday and Friday," AccuWeather senior meteorologist Mike Doll said.
Halloween will have clear skies but be chilly.

Friday Night - A chance of snow before 7pm, then isolated snow showers between 7pm and 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 45.
