While the move centralizes state agencies and offers easier parking for public testimony, city leaders now face added pressure to grow the tax base, partly through newly donated nearby land.

AARP NH now accepting 2026 Community Challenge Grant applications (inklink.news) — Nonprofits and local governments in and around Concord can now apply for AARP New Hampshire’s 2026 Community Challenge grants, with applications due March 4. The program, announced from Concord, funds quick projects that improve public spaces, transportation, housing, internet access, and safety for residents—especially those 50 and older—offering awards from a few hundred dollars up to $25,000.
