1. Congratulations, Linda And Joseph Carmody, On 60 Years Of Marriage (patch.com) — Longtime New Hampshire residents Linda and Joseph Carmody, who moved to Concord about a decade ago, are celebrating 60 years of marriage after lives rooted in family, service, and community. Now settled in the capital city, they enjoy bird and nature watching along the Merrimack River while Joseph continues working in the HVAC industry, surrounded by their loved ones.
   

2. Fire Reported in Lab of Concord's 2-Story Mixed-Use Building (thelegaladvocate.com) — Fire crews in Concord responded Monday to a lab fire inside a two-story mixed-use commercial building at 74 Regional Drive, knocking down visible flames shortly after 1:30 p.m. Officials say the blaze was contained and a working fire alert cleared, but investigators are still determining the cause and whether anyone was injured.
   

3. GameStop stores in New Hampshire to shut, including Concord, Claremont and West Lebanon (concordmonitor.com) — Concord’s GameStop at Fort Eddy Plaza will close after Wednesday, as the retailer shutters at least 80 locations nationwide, including stores in Claremont and West Lebanon. Residents have just a couple of days left to visit the local shop before it shuts amid the company’s long-declining sales and post–meme stock turbulence.
   

4. Exec Council asked to complete Granite Place office complex purchase (unionleader.com) — State officials are poised to complete New Hampshire’s purchase of the Granite Place office complex in Concord, consolidating major government functions and shifting House hearings there during State House renovations. The deal depends on the city subdividing the parcel, while Concord councilors weigh a related conservation easement and potential land sale that could return some nearby acreage to the tax rolls.
   

5. Concord Wins 2026 Minickiello Tourney; Souhegan 5th; Portsmouth 6th: NH High School Wrestling Roundup (patch.com) — Concord High’s wrestling team just captured the 2026 Minickiello Tournament title in Keene, edging out nearly 40 schools from four states and scoring 228 points. Local wrestlers from Concord also turned in strong performances in girls’ brackets and JV action in Bow, highlighting depth across the Crimson Tide program and other nearby schools.
