Possible Flooding In New Hampshire Due To Rain Showers; Great Weather Weekend Ahead: Forecast

National Weather Service: Localized flooding is possible due to heavy rain through Friday; the sun and cooler temps return Saturday.

CONCORD, NH — A round of rain showers brought relief from the hot temperatures in New Hampshire on Thursday, and is expected on Friday, too, but the sun will return soon.

The National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” warning Thursday morning of possible “localized flooding” around the Granite State due to “repeated rounds of heavy rain” Thursday and Friday. After the rain leaves the region on Friday, partly sunny skies will return, accompanied by temperatures in the mid-70s.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-50s.

Sunny skies return on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s throughout the state. It will be clear and calm during the evening and early morning hours with highs in the mid-50s.

On Sunday, expect more sunny skies, with highs in the mid-to-upper-80s during the day and lows in the upper 50s during the overnight hours.

Temperatures creep up into the upper 80s on Monday, accompanied by sunny skies, with wonderful summer weather expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.
