Presumed ‘Armed And Dangerous’ Felon Accused Of Absconding From Supervision: NH Department Of Corrections
Nathaniel Michael Plaisted is wanted on probation violations after being convicted on a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for help finding a possibly “armed and dangerous” felon accused of absconding from probation supervision.
Nathaniel Michael Plaisted is 40, white, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs around 230 pounds. He has blue eyes and red hair. Plaisted has tattoos on his right arm, right forearm, and left forearm.
The Sullivan County Superior Court issued the warrant for his arrest on Oct. 6 for the supervision allegation.

Plaisted was last known to be living in Claremont, where he has family and friends, according to corrections. He may be driving a blue 2009 Chevrolet Silverado with a registration of 399746 or 5544041.
Plaisted was on probation after being convicted of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, according to the alert. Prior criminal history includes drug possession, theft, resisting, and acts prohibited-cocaine.

“Due to Plaisted's underlying conviction, he should be considered armed and dangerous,” investigators said.

Plaisted was featured as a U.S. Marshals fugitive of the week in October 2020 after failing to appear in Court. He was arrested about a month later.
According to superior court records, Plaisted’s criminal history dates back a little less than a decade, when he was accused of acts prohibited, possession, and falsifying physical evidence charges after an incident in Claremont in December 2016. A few months later, he pleaded guilty to the possession and evidence charges and received a 12-month sentence and $434 fine, with 41 days time served credit and three years probation, and a one-to-three-year charge, suspended for five years. Plaisted pleaded guilty to probation violation charges in February 2019 and received two 12-month sentences with 11 days of time served credit.
Plaisted was accused of bail jumping in Newport in July 2020.
In December 2020, he pleaded guilty to two more violation of probation or parole charges in the 2016 case and received two six-month sentences, with 22 days of time served credit.
In February 2023, Plaisted pleaded guilty to the bail jumping charge and received a one-and-a-half-to-three-year sentence suspended for five years.
Plaisted was accused of drug and weapon possession in Claremont in December 2023. He faced a second weapon possession charge out of Claremont in April 2024. As part of a plea deal, the second weapon charge was nolle prossed. Plaisted pleaded guilty to the 2023 drug and weapon charges and received a 12-month sentence with 161 days of time served credit and a one-to-three-year sentence suspended for three years.
In October, Plaisted was accused of violation of probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
