Conservation officers and two New Hampshire state troopers responded to the scene. Searchers were fortunate it had snowed for most of the day, providing good tracking.
The officers followed her tracks until they located her approximately one mile from where she started. Olson was cold and wet but uninjured. She was appreciative as she didn’t know how to get back to the road and had no light source. She was safely brought back to Warner Road, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
