Shooting Threat Incident Leads To Concord High School Early Dismissal

Breaking: Students will be dismissed on Monday at 1:30 p.m. due to a shooting threat incident on a bathroom wall.

CONCORD, NH — Students at Concord High School were dismissed early on Monday due to a shooting threat incident.

Limited information was available at post time, but parents received an alert at around 1:15 p.m. notifying them of the incident and the early dismissal. Students were released at 1:30 p.m., the alert stated.

The shooting threat was written on a wall in a girl’s bathroom. Police, the alert stated, were investigating the incident.

“Please follow customary end of day procedures,” the alert to parents stated. “Buses will be transporting (students) home.”

This incident remains an active and on-going investigation.
