Snow Is Heading To New Hampshire Next Week, Forecasters Say — But How Much Is Unknown
After sun on Saturday and rain and snow on Sunday, expect chilly temperatures and possibly a major storm on Tuesday, the NWS says.
CONCORD, NH — While the snow squalls were fun on Friday, it looks like the first serious snowfall for central and southern New Hampshire is on the horizon.
On Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” warning of slick roads during the latter days of holiday travel. But the alert also warned, “There is a signal for the first widespread snowfall of the season on Tuesday.”
Expect sunny skies on Saturday with highs in the upper 30s. It will be windy and there will be gusts of up to 25 mph.

Rain and snow are expected Sunday, mainly in the late morning and early afternoon, without much accumulation. Temps will be in the lower 40s. More rain is expected early evening, with overnight lows in the upper 20s.
The sun lingers on Monday, with temps in the mid-to-upper 30s. But overnight, it will drop into the teens.

Snow is likely in the late morning Tuesday on the Seacoast and early afternoon in Concord and the capital region, Nashua, as well as southern and southwestern New Hampshire. The snow is expected to continue into the late evening.
No accumulation numbers were available at the time of publication.
The sun returns on Wednesday with highs in the mid-30s. Thursday is also expected to be sunny.
