St. Paul’s School In Concord To Test Student Emergency Alert System Thursday Morning
An official says the siren will be tested between 8:40 and 8:45 a.m. It is usually heard in the West, South, and North End neighborhoods.
CONCORD, NH — Officials at St. Paul’s School’s Safety Department will be running a test of the outdoor emergency alert system on Thursday morning.
The test will take place between 8:40 and 8:45 a.m.
The alert, which sounds like an old civil defense air raid siren, is followed by a pre-recorded message. The school usually tests the system a few times a year — in the spring, summer, and fall, in order to demonstrate to attending students how the system works and what to listen for.
