Streets On The Concord Heights Closed Saturday Morning For The 74th Annual Christmas Parade
Part of Loudon Road will be closed to traffic Saturday morning for the annual parade. Donations still needed for tree lighting on Nov. 28.

CONCORD, NH — The annual Christmas parade will be held on the Concord Heights on Saturday morning.
The event starts at 9 a.m. and will run until noon.
The following streets will be closed during the three-hour event:

Hazen Drive from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation center to Loudon Road.
Loudon Road will be closed from Hazen Drive to Canterbury Road.

Canterbury Road will be closed from Loudon Road to the parking lot at 70 Pembroke Road.
Blodgett Street, Ormond Street, Grover Street, Burns Avenue, Chase Street, and Dudley Drive will also all be closed.
The weather, according to the National Weather Service, looks like it will be cooperating: Mostly sunny with a high near 45 degrees. It might be a bit breezy, though.
Brian Blackden, the organizer of the parade and the tree lighting on Nov. 28, is still looking for donations. This year, the fireworks for the tree lighting event will cost $5,000, he said.
