According to scanner chatter, the parents of the driver arrived at the scene later, while the victim had surgery on what was described as a significant leg wound.

Deputy Chief Barrett Moulton of the Concord Police Department stated the length of time it took for charges to come to fruition was due to accessing digital data from the car Moore Jahn was reportedly driving and the investigatory process.

Moore Jahn waived arraignment, which was initially scheduled for Monday, and entered a plea of not guilty on Friday. A probable cause hearing, slated for Oct. 14 in Concord District Court, was canceled, according to paperwork.

Moore Jahn was also arrested on a simple assault charge in late August after an incident or investigation at Walmart on Loudon Road.
