‘Well Above Normal Temperatures’ On The Horizon For New Hampshire, Forecasters Say

The National Weather Service says the weekend will offer nice summer weather but look for temps to rise into the 90s beginning on Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — If you have not gotten to the beach or taken a refreshing dip in a lake, pond, or river, this weekend may be your chance.

Weather forecasters are calling for nice weather this weekend. However, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Sunday, warning of “well above normal temperatures.” The high temperatures are expected to persist through at least Wednesday, forecasters said.

“High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 80s to the middle 90s, with the National Weather Service heat risk in the moderate to major categories,” the alert stated.

On Friday, expect sunny skies with highs in the mid-80s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s.

Similar weather is expected on Saturday.

But on Sunday, temps creep up into the lower 90s with overnight lows in the mid-60s.

On Monday, sunny and hot again, with highs in the mid-90s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

Expect similar weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
