National Weather Service forecasters say sunny skies will prevail this weekend and into next week, too, after Sunday's scattered showers.
CONCORD, NH — Forecasters are calling for a fantastic weather weekend until the end, when badly needed scattered showers move into the region.
On Friday, expect sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s and a light northeasterly wind. Overnight lows will be in the mid-40s.

Expect similar weather on Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s during the day, accompanied by a light wind, and lows overnight in the lower 50s.

On Sunday, scattered showers move into the state in the morning, with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. After that, expect partly sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue into the evening with highs in the lower 50s.
After the rain on Monday morning, the sun will reappear. Tuesday and Wednesday are also expected to be sunny, according to forecasters.
