Exeter Landmark For Sale

Exeter's Inn By The Bandstand is up for sale.

The property, which dates back to 1809, is going for $690,000, according to its listing.

The inn is currently operated as a bed and breakfast. Owner Susan Henderson could not be reached Monday.

The property also includes the Cornucopia Wine & Cheese Market. Kathleen Campbell, who runs the market, said her business will remain open even if the building is sold because of her lease agreement.

The inn is included in the National Register of Historic Places. The property was built for George Sullivan, who served in Congress and was New Hampshire's attorney general.

The property has three floors, 10 working fireplaces, and 10 baths.
