Good morning, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five things you need to know for Monday, Feb. 11:

3. What Else Is Happening Today? An update is expected during the 7 p.m. North Hampton Select Board meeting on the work to correct bacteria and contamination issues with the Little River. The meeting is at North Hampton Town Hall.
Also, the Hampton Board of Selectmen will meet at 7 p.m. at Hampton Town Hall, while the Friends of Winnacunnet Foundation will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the principal's conference room at WHS.
4. This Day in History: On this day in 1990, Nelson Mandela, leader of the movement to end South African apartheid, was released from prison after 27 years.
Also, pop superstar Whitney Houston died at the age of 48 on this day in 2012.
