Hampton School District SAU 90 Announces Annual Meeting Dates

The First Session of the Annual Meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, with a snow date of Feb. Election Day is March 10.

HAMPTON, NH — The Hampton School District has announced a series of events and dates related to the 2026 Annual School District Meeting.

The Hampton Budget Committee Public Hearing on the Budget (School & Town) will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in the Hampton Town Hall.

The First Session of the Annual Meeting, called the Deliberative Session, will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, with a snow date of Feb. 5, 2026, in the Auditorium of Hampton Academy. At that meeting, registered voters of Hampton will consider the posted Warrant for the Annual Meeting.

The Second Session of the Annual Meeting, the traditional Voting Day, will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Voting in Hampton will be at Winnacunnet High School Dining Hall. Absentee ballots may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office at Hampton Town Hall during regular office hours as late as Monday, March 9, 2026.

The Hampton School District will vote on one elected school board position, with a three-year term expiring in 2029. Candidates must file a declaration of candidacy with the Town Clerk’s office at Hampton Town Hall beginning on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The filing period ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026.

The Warrant for the Annual Meeting and HB 1265 report will be posted by January 26, 2026, at the Town Hall, Lane Library, and the Hampton Schools. The Warrant supporting materials, information detailing the proposed operating budget and proposed warrant articles, and the HB1265 report will also be posted on the sau90.org website, which operates under the Operations section.
