Another Heat Wave?
Stay safe and cool at the beach Monday as temperatures and humidity push thermometers to dangerous highs.

Today will be a hot one in Hampton and North Hampton, as a high of 91 degrees is expected. And it's the start of what could be another heat wave for New Hampshire.
One New Hampshire community — Merrimack — has already opened a cooling station after the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Hillsborough County and part of Massachusetts through 8 p.m. Monday.
The Seacoast area and the rest of Rockingham County don't have a heat advisory as of Monday morning, although the worst conditions throughout the state are expected during the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will be in the lower 90s, but high humidity will push heat index values up to 102. Anyone outdoors for prolonged periods will be at risk for heat-related illnesses.
So do what you can to avoid prolonged work in the sun or poorly ventilated areas, and drink plenty of fluids. And consider rescheduling any strenuous activities to the early morning or evening.
More hot weather is expected tomorrow, which has a high of 90. Temperatures in and around the 90s are expected through the end of the week.
