The fecal bacteria advisory for North Hampton's Bass Beach was lifted Saturday after testing revealed that bacteria levels had returned to an acceptable level.
The advisory was issued Wednesday after water samples collected indicated a bacteria concentration higher than the state threshold.
The advisory was the third such alert in North Hampton in the last month, and first for Bass Beach. Two separate bacteria advisories were issued and subsequently lifted at North Hampton State Beach in June.
