Beach Bacteria Issues Continue: Advisory Issued for Bass Beach
The beach is still open, although officials are urging caution.

Sample testing conducted at North Hampton's Bass Beach on Tuesday has revealed a fecal bacteria concentration higher than the state's limit, prompting the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services to issue a bacteria advisory.
The advisory is the third such alert in North Hampton in the last month, and first for Bass Beach. Two separate bacteria advisories were issued and subsequently lifted at North Hampton State Beach in June.
Additional testing will be conducted Friday, and NHDES expects to have new results on Saturday. The beach isn't closed, although official do warn during beach advisories to take extra precautions after going into the water, including washing hands and bathing.
