Child Porn Suspect Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Teen
Corey Ferland, 20, of Hampton, has been arrested again, and prosecutors are looking to revoke his bail.

A Hampton man facing serious jail time for making and distributing child pornography has been arrested for the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Newmarket, according to the Union Leader.
Corey Ferland, 20, formerly of 10 Cogger St. in Hampton, was indicted in June on four counts of distribution of child sexual abuse images, two counts of manufacture of child sexual abuse images and two counts of possession of child sex abuse images for allegedly taking and sharing nude pictures of a 17-year-old ex-girlfriend in Hampton.
The Union Leader has reported that Ferland was arrested in Newmarket on Sept. 13 for felonious sexual assault and sale of marijuana after having a sexual encounter with his 15-year-old victim on Sept. 8 at a Newmarket baseball park. Ferland was held on $50,000 bail following his arraignment on the charges, although prosecutors want his bail revoked because the incident is a violation of his previous bail conditions.
Ferland could face up to of 180 years in prison if convicted on the eight indictments in the Hampton case. Ferland was originally arrested on Feb. 20 after the Hampton Police Department executed a search warrant at his home.
The Hampton indictments and associated court paperwork state Ferland used Facebook to send explicit photos of his ex-girlfriend, who was engaged in various sexual acts, to the girl's father and four other individuals.
