Coach/Alleged Teen Sex Solicitor Free on Bail

Kenneth Kimber was due for arraignment Tuesday, although the court appearance was pushed back because he made bail.

A former Seacoast Spartans and True Champion coach is now free on bail and will be arraigned next month on charges that he allegedly tried to solicit sex from a teenage girl while working in the Portsmouth School District's IT department.

Kenneth P. Kimber, 34, of 93 Osprey Drive in Portsmouth, was scheduled to be arraigned on three felony counts of certain uses of a computer prohibited and five felony counts of indecent exposure on Tuesday morning in Portsmouth District Court.

According to court officials, Kimber made his $5,000 cash bail over the weekend and as a result his arraignment date was subsequently rescheduled to March 4 at 8:30 a.m.
