Ex-Coach Arrested while Free on Bail on Sex Charges
Portsmouth police arrested Kenneth Kimber, 34, for nine counts of stalking on Sunday.

A former Hampton-area coach and Portsmouth school worker who was free on bail on teen sex solicitation charges was arrested on Sunday for stalking, according to Portsmouth Police.
Kenneth Kimber, 34, of 93 Osprey Drive in Portsmouth, was charged with nine counts of stalking, according to Portsmouth Police Capt. Mike Schwartz.
Kimber was arrested by Portsmouth Police on Feb. 15 for three felony counts of certain uses of a computer prohibited and five felony counts of indecent exposure. He was arrested again in March for sex solicitation for allegedly trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.

As part of Kimber's original bail conditions following the March arrest and arraignment, he was ordered to have no contact with a witness whom police said he tried to contact nine times between March 24 and April 8.
Schwartz said that Kimber was able to post the $9,000 in bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on the new stalking charges on May 6 in Portsmouth Circuit Court.

by Rockingham County Superior Court Judge Kenneth McHugh on April 10 after the previous charges against him were forwarded to a Rockingham County grand jury for possible indictment.
Kimber posted the $10,000 cash bail set by Portsmouth Circuit Court Judge Sawato Gardner following his February arrest, but could not meet his bail after it was increased to $15,000 following his March arrest.
