According to witnesses the smoke was visible from the beach.
HAMPTON BEACH, NH — Firefighters are working to put out a fire at a beach house near Hampton Beach State Park, according to several witnesses. Several beach-goers tweeted out pictures of dark smoke coming from what appeared to be a beach house.
Firefighters said the fire broke out at 15 Dover Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Evan West, of Nashua, told Patch he was in the water a few blocks away when it seemed like everyone saw it at the same time.

"Everyone just spun around and gasped at flames licking into the air on a random beach Saturday," he told Patch. "I was in the water and turned around to see smoke and a very aggressive fire burning in a thickly settled area of Hampton Beach."
The fire appeared to mostly be centered around the top floor of the three floor wood building.
