Good morning, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five things you need to know for Thursday, Jan. 17:

 

1. Could a Special Education Action Plan Be Decided Tonight? The North Hampton School Board is set to continue its review of the recommendations for the North Hampton School special education program during a 7 p.m. meeting.

2. Today’s Winnacunnet High School Sports Matchups (information via Winnacunnet.org):

3. What Else Is Happening Today? The public hearing for the conservation easement for the 53-acre Governor Dale Farm, which will be on this year's North Hampton town meeting warrant, is at 7 p.m. at North Hampton Town Hall.

Also, today is the first day for North Hampton's new town administrator.

4. This Day in History: On this day in 1950, 11 men stole more than $2 million from the Brinks Armored Car depot in Boston, Mass.

It was almost the perfect crime, as the culprits weren't caught until January 1956, just days before the statute of limitations for the theft expired.
