Good morning, Hampton and North Hampton. Here are five things you need to know for Friday, March 8:

 

1. Today’s Featured Fun: Winnacunnet High School's spring musical, "Little Shop of Horrors," debuts at 7 p.m. There are also two shows Saturday.

2. Counting Cards for a Cause: The Hampton Parent-Teacher Association is hosting a March Madness Texas Hold'Em Tournament at 7 p.m. at the Poker Room in Hampton Falls.

3. What Else Is Happening Today? The second of two Hampton School District forums about a common start time for all SAU 90 schools is this morning.

4. This Day in History: On this day 1917 in Russia, the February Revolution (known as such because of Russia's use of the Julian calendar) began when riots and strikes over the scarcity of food erupt in Petrograd.

One week later, centuries of czarist rule in Russia ended with the abdication of Nicholas II, and Russia took a dramatic step closer toward communist revolution.
